End-of-Life, Funeral and Memorial Service Guidance with Love and Care
A memorial service is a final goodbye for a life on earth – HERE IS WHERE WE CAN HELP
A memorial service is a final goodbye for a life on earth but it’s not a final goodbye as your loved one will always be with you in memory and in spirit. When you honor a loved one who has passed away, they meant so much to you that you don’t want to forget anything.
Hello, my name is Victoria Medina, and I have been where you are. My mission is to help you honor those you love. We will guide you towards creating a celebration that expresses how you, your family, friends and colleagues feel in a remembrance that rejoices life.
This is a new time and a new chapter in your life. Giving yourself the space to grieve and consider how your life will be forever different can be overwhelming. As your memorial service planner I am here to help.
In many ways a memorial service is quite similar to a funeral service. The difference is that while a funeral service usually focuses on mourning, a memorial service is usually held after the funeral and the focus is customarily about celebrating the life of your loved one.

Memorials
Hello, my name is Victoria Medina. In 2010
I received a phone call telling me that my father was very ill. I did not know it at the time, but for the next ten years I would become the primary caregiver for four seniors. Several friends would also pass away, and I would be either preparing for a funeral, planning a funeral within days or a memorial service every three months.
Since by profession I am also a writer, producer and director of theater with a play produced off-Broadway, my family commended me on the funeral/memorial services I created.
What I and my family discovered was that the memorial service allowed us to bond, reconnect and celebrate the person we so loved. In turn, knowing that our lives were forever changed, the memorial service also helped us to move forward. The grief and the pain were still there, but the joy of knowing and celebrating them helped us into this new chapter and we would take them and all the memories with us.
When I said good-bye to another loved one this year during the COVID-19 pandemic, I also knew the pain and grief many others felt, and the stress. What could I do? I decided to share my expertise and help the way I served my family, and Aquamarine was born. We are here for you.
