I have been where you are and our mission is to collaborate with you to assist with your plans in honoring those you love, and guide you towards creating a celebration that will speak to you, your family and all the lives that have been touched in a remembrance that rejoices life.
YOUR MEMORIAL SERVICE PLANNER
Hello, my name is Victoria Medina. In 2010 I received a phone call telling me that my father was very ill. I did not know it at the time, but for the next ten years I would become the primary caregiver for four seniors. Several friends would also pass away, and I would be either preparing for a funeral, planning a funeral within days or a memorial service every three months.
Since by profession I am also a writer, producer and director of theater with a play produced off-Broadway, my family commended me on the funeral/memorial services I created.
What I and my family discovered was that the memorial service allowed us to bond, reconnect and celebrate the person we so loved. In turn, knowing that our lives were forever changed, the memorial service also helped us to move forward. The grief and the pain were still there, but the joy of knowing and celebrating them helped us into this new chapter and we would take them and all the memories with us.
When I said good-bye to another loved one this year during the COVID-19 pandemic, I also knew the pain and grief many others felt, and the stress. What could I do? I decided to share my expertise and help the way I served my family, and Aquamarine was born. We are here for you.
